Bruce Willis... Last man standing by Statham75 Bruce Willis... Last man standing by Statham75
Old school tough guy Bruce Willis...

This one was really fun for me, seeing as how I was able to employ some new skills I picked up along the way. There are some things I could have done a little more thoroughly, but I'm ok with leaving it as is... hope you like it!

Great drawing. Like the way you've captured the stubble. :)

Yes, it definately is  That's what makes all of the difference when it comes to hyper realism ;) I admire that aspect of this one. It's realism at its best :w00t:

As usual, a sickly brilliant drawing! You are as fantastic as always! Can't think of any critique to give.. but imo the left eye looks a bit flat. Perhaps that was the way the eye actually looked in that angle though. Otherwise, a great work of art!

Thanks for the comment, friend...ya, there are always dangers in choosing a ref pic that isn't sharp and well defined.. The one I used was really grainy and the eyes area was in deep shadow. I can tell ya however, that I made it look just like the ref as far as dimensions,.. Only changes i made were to some of the values ... Thanks again, and drop by anytime ! :)

Thanks! I had lotta fun with this one... Actually an easier picture to draw than Sarah Connor, but more details in the skin made it look really good.. I'm happy with it:)

Interesting that you used white gel pens. I read that with some white gel pens, ink turns yellow after a while on a discussion, have you experienced that?

I'm still new to a lot of these techniques that most you guys already know, so I may or may not have made a critical art mistake, who knows.. Lol
Oh well, I guess we will wait and see :D

Oh no you havt made a mistake!!
Ive never used them myself, and other people wrote that theres not a problem with white Gel. I just wanted to get your opinion before I try and use them myself. Im also looking for an alternative to the "leaving areas white" technique, because I keep forgetting to:)

well, I either mark them off with a light lead boundary, and then go back and smudge across that line a little so it disappears, or I use the heck outta a kneaded eraser :)

Well Ive wrecked a lot of drawings by rubbing holes in the paper, so gonna try out white ink or white gels. :)
