Yes, I understand. It's better to put it away for some time and return to it later
than quickly finish it and spoil all your hard work.

I can't wait until this is done... it looks magnificent :) like a frame from an old Vietnam War movie I used to watch in school.

That is just amazing! The shirt has so much detail..I can not for the life of me draw clothing that well. :faint: Where do you find the pictures you draw from?

Um, I just go to like, google images, type in something, and browse what pops up:)
I will say, about the clothes,.. Omg they taking forever,.. Here's how I'm going about the process:
Take light lead ( 2h) and softly trace out the shapes of the wrinkles, shaded areas,..
Then, do a lil smudge work on them...Blend them into surrounding area.. Looks messy at first...
Then go back and darken in the shaded folds and wrinkles, blending them into the surrounding area again, but not too far. Just so you have no clear lines separating the values..
Go back with a kneaded eraser and reshape your folds/wrinkles, then blend the edges again...
Repeat the shade and smudge steps over and over a few times, gradually darkening in the darkest areas, and dabbing at lighter areas with kneaded eraser..U can use it to get the blotchy, dirty cloth look, also...

I dunno how anyone else does it, but I guess it's working. It's time consuming, but the end result I think turns out ok. I did same thing for " no fate" clothes

Wow that sounds immensely time consuming. I'm not sure I have that much patience and I KNOW I don't have enough skill...But Maybe I will do what you said and give it a shot. Not sure how it will turn out but it worth a try. Thanks!
